A cultural event hosted by Italian-Americans: a true feast for the senses focusing on traditional Sicilian foods and Italian libations Please join us for a collaborative event between @cafeolli, @testaduro & @nonnina to celebrate the feast day of St. Lucia, patron Saint of Syracuse, Sicily. Italians celebrate the feast day with food, wine and gathering with family and friends and that is exactly what we are going to do together. December 13, Monday, 5-9pm 100 guest limit, 4 seatings of 25 each at the top of the hour at 5, 6, 7, & 8pm$50 ticket price + 20% gratuity added = $60 total You will be served four small (tapas sized) dishes and two alcoholic beverages: 1. Arancini, 2, 1 veg, 1 meat + Aperitivo (sparkling or amaro/vermouth soda) 2. Squash/grain salad with ricotta salata 3. Saucy braised beef, with smashed potatoes 4. Cuccia, boiled farro and ricotta + Nonnina Nocino **There will also be wines available for purchase at the bar Because of various traditions associating Santa Lucia's name with light, she came to be thought of as the patron of sight and was depicted by medieval artists carrying a dish containing her eyes.
