PPTF is sponsoring a special holiday event, "Centre Hill Under the Lights" for Friday for the Arts, December 10 from 6-9 pm The Petersburg Preservation Task Force is sponsoring an event that will allow visitors to view sights rarely seen by the public. Centre Hill Museum, 1 Centre Hill Court, will be open for the evening under a glow of holiday lights. Every room will be decorated with holiday cheer by designers participating in the the Holiday Showcase Open House. Seasonal music will fill the courtesy of two local professional musicians, Colleen Potter Thorburn, harpist, and Ben Thorburn, base baritone. While listening to the music, light hors d'oeuvres, wine and a specialty drink from Alibi Restaurant will be available to enjoy. Admission tickets for the event are $15 per person and includes one glass of wine or specialty cocktail. A cash bar for additional wine and specialty cocktails will be offered.
