Join us on Thursday, December 9th when we paint to thank the Stratford Public Works Department for keeping our town looking so beautiful! Please joining us on this special night as we paint hearts to thank Stratford's Public Works Department for all the hard work they do all year round to make this town a beautiful place to drive through... from hanging the Senior's graduation banners, to hanging and caring for all the lovely flowering plants along Main Street in the summer, to collecting the fall leaf bags, to plowing the roads in the winter, and let's not forget about everyone's favorite task of collecting our trash and recycling... this department takes all the flack when things don't go as hoped, but gets very few thank you's when everything goes off without a hitch. We are located on the third floor of Sterling House. There is plenty of parking, and an elevator to get you to the third floor. We will be there from 6 pm-8:30 pm. Drop in any time between 6 and 7:30 to give yourself enough time to paint your heart and fill out a message of caring to go along with it. We ask for a $7 donation for each heart you paint to offset the cost of the clay, paint, organza bags, and other items used to make your heart an amazing work of art. We are a family friendly event, children are welcome. Please consider bringing a donation of food for the food pantry when you attend tonight. (2) Register here and we'll prepare your order for pick-up: on the night of our Paint with a Purpose, stop in and pick up your order any time between 6-8 pm. Mini kits include a ceramic heart to be painted and decorated. These come with all painting supplies and instructions and a card for your personal message of caring and compassion.
