PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE HIRING IMMEDIATLEY AND TRAINING WILL BEGIN WITHIN 24 HOURS OF INITIAL INTERVIEW. PAID TRAINING (training pay is NOT route pay). During Training you are not required to use your vehicle for the first 7-10 days of training. Newspaper/Magazine route available in BENSONHURST/DYKER HEIGHTS -7 night per week delivery (1:00am-6:00am M W Th F Sa Su) (Tuesday 1:00am-11:00am delivery + collection) -Total work week hours range between 35-40 hours (work hours varies on how fast you complete the job) -Cash pay (commission based ~$850.00-$900.00 weekly) Requirements -Valid Drivers License -Cargo Van, Mini van or larger SUV (registered & insured) are all acceptable vehicles to deliver the route -Able to lift at least 30 lbs. -Able to speak English (Spanish is a bonus but not required) -Able to work in a quick, timely manner -Able to work with your hands Job Details -Delivering newspaper and magazine products to retail outlets in the BENSONHURST/DYKER HEIGHTS area in your own vehicle. -Preparing route for delivery each morning at base warehouse at 30-10 REVIEW AVE, LONG ISLAND CITY NY 11101 and dispatching in a timely manner. -Preparation includes putting together orders for stores, tying/securing orders, loading them in your vehicle. This process all takes place in the warehouse. -After preparation of the route you will dispatch in your vehicle from the warehouse and deliver to the accounts on your route. -Monday through Sunday average work night will start around 1:00am, dispatching warehouse between 3:00am-3:30am and finishing deliveries between 5:45am-6:00am. -Tuesdays after the route is completed you will be required to collect from the stores you deliver to from 8:00am-11:30am Route available is 88 stops and takes between 2 hours 30 minutes to 2 hours 45 minutes to deliver. 1099 at the end of the year (independent contractor) Please call 516-637-8990 and ask for Chris if you are interested!
