Assistant needed for a small in-home daycare facility. This position is a blend of assisting with Daycare needs, as well as assisting with items for our household, housekeeping needs, and personal life. Located in Huntersville NC and looking to add a staff member who will be an assistant for a variety of duties. This position is for someone who enjoys a fast-paced work environment, along with the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks during their daily and weekly routine. This job is for someone who loves kids and working with them and has great housekeeping, domestic skills, and organizational skills. As opposed to a traditional daycare atmosphere, you will not be confined to just one classroom, but instead act as a floater throughout the daycare PLUS be an assistant for all tasks needed in the facility along with personal items needed for our household. All candidates MUST be able to pass an extensive background check of ALL 50 states, as well as the most rigorous drug test. This will be a part time (20 hour a week) position to start, with much room for growth during this upcoming year in both hourly pay and hours worked weekly. Hours of availability needed for this position would be Monday – Friday 7:30 am -6:30 pm, but employees would not be working that entire block of time. The hours would fluctuate daily/weekly, with some days being a morning shift, some days a split shift and some days being an evening shift according to the coverage needs. Schedules would be given a week in advance. Pay is based on experience, with pay rate increase opportunities available based on performance at employee review intervals throughout the year(s). This will be a cash pay (1099) position! Intended start date is December 27th, 2021. We are closed weeks a year for vacation, allowing employees to have weeks of unpaid vacation yearly! In addition, all candidates will enjoy the following Federal holidays off as PAID holidays!  New years’ eve  New years’ day  Fourth of July  Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after  Christmas eve  Christmas day  Martin Luther King Day  Veterans day  Labor Day  Memorial Day Job requirements and duties involve (but are not limited to) items listed below: • Helping in classroom with children as a floater and extra set of eyes and hands in classrooms. • Reading, playing games, helping with crafts, outdoor time supervision & mealtimes. • Prepping meals & snacks • Detailed cleaning of all daycare space daily. (This will be a bulk portion of the job as we take cleanliness and sanitation VERY seriously) • Cleaning & sanitation of toys, seats, highchairs, bedding, chair covers, etc. • Cleaning and housekeeping needs for household • Meal prep for our household • Assisting with curriculum and craft prep • Assisting with menu creation & shopping lists for both Daycare and our home • Shopping for or picking up groceries • Running a variety of errands needed for Daycare and our home. Must haves: • MUST be able to pass extensive drug test and background from ALL 50 States • Must LOVE children • Must be self-starting • Must have great cleaning skills • Must be willing to jump in and do whatever is on the list to help, as the task list will be ever changing. • Must be able to work quickly, EFFICIENTLY, and independently once given proper instruction and we are beyond the training period. • Must be a quick learner • Must be upbeat, positive, and cooperative • Must be able to take and follow instructions • Must have cell phone • Must have Valid drivers’ license • Must have reliable transportation
