POSITION – INDUSTRIAL COATINGS TECHNICIAN / APPLICATOR / FINISHER Starting pay up to 23.50 per hour DOE + excellent benefits The Boise office is currently recruiting for several full time technicians / applicators. This is a hands-on technical position working for a specialty subcontractor to general contractors at commercial, industrial, and government facilities. Scopes of work include demolition of old flooring systems, concrete surface preparation, installation of multi-layer coating systems. One of the big benefits of our scopes of work is that virtually all work is indoors and is not subject to the typical seasonality of construction work. The successful candidate must have at least 1 year of experience working in the construction industry on a variety of jobsites, and be willing to travel throughout the Northwest. Past experience in concrete surface preparation, concrete finishing, application of multistep coatings (urethanes and/or epoxies), is helpful, but not required. Specifically: • Ability to learn complex installation procedures and be very detail oriented • Learn how to operate and maintain specialty equipment • Ability of follow directions from supervisor, and immediately alert supervisor when issues arise • Reading and comprehending written and verbal directions, including material safety data sheets (MSDS), product data sheets, installation procedures, and equipment operating manuals • Strong problem solving skills and mechanical aptitude • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in the quality of one’s work performed • Be in good physical condition – walking, standing, bending, knelling to access work areas and perform tasks - able to lift and carry over 75lbs • Adhere to a strict safety culture, and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) i.e. respiratory protection, eye protection, hearing protection, etc. - observe & analyze work locations for safety and health hazards. • Cleanliness and good organization skills are critical • Good interpersonal skills and positive attitude Additional Requirements: • must possess a valid and clean driver's license • be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen Benefits: • Health + Dental + Vision Insurance program • 401K with Match • Paid Holidays & Vacation Plan based on time with the company • Quarterly training by manufacturers All self-motivated individuals seeking to be part of a dynamic team, with growth opportunity, great benefits and a value centered work environment are encouraged to • apply in person at 621 E.
