French Cooking Class with Chef Louis Retailleau - Learn to make authentic French food - Chestnut dressing and Grand Marnier Soufflé Small class size cooking demonstration in the privacy of The Erika Brooke Haven in Fountain Square. Students will interact with an experienced French Chef and then sample the finished products. Just in time to wow your family and friends for the holidays. Louis Retailleau has been a French Chef for more than 40 years, starting as an apprentice in Miradoux in the Southwest of France, then continued his training in Paris and London before leaving Europe to operate restaurants in Quebec City, Canada, New York City, Chicago, Northwest Indiana, then Southeast Indiana before retiring in San Francisco. He's back in Indiana for occasional classes, and would love to show you the joy of creating authentic French food. This introductory class will be limited in size and provide personal interaction as you learn the techniques, and then sample these two basic delights. You will learn tips and tricks that will easily translate to your home kitchen!
