Hey, I'm a 29-year-old songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who just moved to NYC area and is looking for musicians to collaborate with, preferably around the same age as me. Here is a demo of a song I worked on recently. I've got a lot more written as well. https://soundcloud.com/neal-williams-8/bungalow I can play keys and bass reasonably well. I think a stronger vocalist and guitarist are the most essential things my music is missing, but any interested musicians are welcome to reach out. I've been writing songs with a male vocalist in mind, but I could be convinced to switch it up. Your amount of experience isn't super important to me because I've just been doing this in my home studio so far. But I am serious about this project, so I'm looking for people who would be able to make some kind of commitment. I do want to gig eventually as well as get songs professionally produced when the music is ready. Here's an eclectic list of musicians I like a lot: Passenger, The Killers, Taylor Swift, Anais Mitchell, Mumford & Sons, John Mayer, Radiohead, KT Tunstall, The Eagles, The Beatles, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Zac Brown Band. Yeah, my tastes are pretty mainstream. I wouldn't say I am trying to sound like any of them.
