Question about Ghost Writing

Hi All, I was wondering if anyone can assist me. My dear old friend (lets call him Iron Man II) had an idea for a movie and wrote a script (handwritten.) He hired a "ghost writer" (lets call him Ant Man II) to type it all up and put it into "screen format." They have a contract that says he has no rights to any of it. When the ghost writer sent the document to my friend, he added: Written by Iron Man and Ant Man. My friend is very kind. Clearly he has a contract so he could have it upheld but we were just wondering what the standard practice would be. Previously, a different ghost writer said, "its now industry norm that my name is added." I was wondering if anyone has any information or experience they could share. Thanks so much! Bat Woman II
