Join us Thanksgiving morning to prepare, package and deliver meals to the homeless and less fortunate. Join us Thanksgiving morning to prepare, package and deliver meals to the homeless and less fortunate in and around Austin. We will partially be outside so dress accordingly. Location leaders will be in brown Operation Turkey shirts directing volunteers to our various needs (food prep, meal packaging, clean up, meal delivery drivers, etc.) As always, show up with a smile on your face and love in your heart to accomplish our mission. We cannot do it without each of you.   Everyone deserves a hot meal on Thanksgiving. Thousands of homeless and people less fortunate than others in our hometowns are able to receive a hot meal, warm clothes, and other needed supplies at Thanksgiving through the efforts of Operation Turkey™ volunteers. Each Thanksgiving, Operation Turkey effectively organizes local teams of volunteers - families, friends, and businesses - to cook, prepare, pack, and deliver thousands of hot meals and provide other necessities to many people in need.
