These camps are designed to improve, teach, or adjust elements of performance for high school age athletes.
Northern Hills Winter Performance Camp
This camp is open to any high schooler students freshman through senior. Limited to 20 participants per session.
Day 1: Foundational Movements for Sports Camp- Monday, Dec. 27
This camp will focus on the movement patterns that allow the athletes to become more aware of their bodies. Returning to the basics with movement preparation while focusing on stability mechanics and corrective movement patterns.
Session 1: 10am-12pm
Session 2: 1pm-3pm
Day 2: Agility & Strength Camp- Tuesday, Dec. 28
This camp will emphasize both linear and multi-directional speed. This will allow the athlete to develop specific movement skills under reactive and non-reactive conditions to optimize transfer in sport.
Power and strength are highly important for all sports. This camp will focus on utilizing plyometrics, medicine balls, Olympic lift variations, and strength movements to increase the rate of force development.
Session 1: 10am-12pm
Session 2: 1pm-3pm
