This class will provide space for up to 15 persons and will teach the basics of Macrame This class will provide space for up to 15 persons and will teach the basics of Macrame so that each student will be able to create two types of beautiful Christmas ornaments. If time allows a 3rd ornament will also be introduced. No prior experience is needed, and beginners are welcome!! In this two-hour workshop you will: - Learn how to begin your project, as well as an overview of necessary materials. - How to work a few different macrame knots including a square knot, Larks Head, and a half-hitch. Although intricate knots can take a bit of practice, these basic knots that will be taught are sometimes all you need to make a beautiful piece. - You will leave with 2 sets of 2-3 ornament variations and the know how to create more ornaments on your own for yourself or maybe as a Christmas gift. About the Instructor: Stacy is a Registered Nurse who found Macrame to be the perfect soul soothing, meditative craft she needed in her life. A long-time crafter of many types of art, she found fiber arts to be the most enjoyable and Macrame to be completely addicting. So much so that she has made a business out of it.
