I am located in Worcester, MA. This is Zazu. She is 2.5 years old, her hatch date is May 9, 2019, she was hand fed, I've had her since she was 8 weeks old. She is an absolute sweetheart, she doesn't bite (to draw blood that is, if she is very displeased she will give a pinch, but not to break skin). She is a love, she wants to be with people 24/7. She is free flight and recall trained, although you would have to establish a strong bond with her before you could do this. She loves her food, mostly seeds, nuts, fruits, and veggies. She lets me clip her nails while holding her but I have to patient with her. She talks a little, she says Hello, Up-Up, and when I say Kiss-kiss, she makes a kiss-kiss sound and puts out her beak to give kisses. She is playful, loves to interact, she will dance if you play music or sing to her. All that being said, she is LOUD if she wants attention, if she sees "danger" (could be ANY random object or something outside), if she gets excited etc. This is NOT an easy decision and I have put it off for some time because I am terrified that she will not go to the right home. She is not afraid of strangers, I take her out with me often and people always are curious about her and want to hold her, and I let them. Sometimes she stays with them for a while, sometimes, she flies right back to me. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE HER sooo much!! Which is why I have decided to try and find her a forever home that can give her all the love and snuggles and attention she needs. She will come with her cage, food, toys, etc, everything I have for her. Her cage is big, for a conure that is. She is NEVER locked in her cage, however sometimes I need to shut the door to the room she is in. Now for what I NEED from you!!! You MUST be a stay at home person/worker. NON Smoker. You must have bird experience, have a house, NOT an apartment as I guarantee people will complain about her noise. She is good with children and other animals. I have never exposed her to other birds, but with a proper introduction, I'm sure she will be fine. I would love if you have an aviary or plan on letting her have free roam of the house. I DO NOT want her wings clipped, this is a MUST!! She loves to fly and should be able to do so. Yes there is a rehoming fee. I'm not giving her away. She is an amazing bird, friendly, hand raised etc. Text me to let me know WHY you would be suitable to be her forever person.....Rehoming fee is $500, this includes her large cage, toys, food, and my Zazu....
