APAIT Los Angeles Presents: Wine, Dine, & Drag; WORLD AIDS DAY COMMEMORATION COVID-19 REGULATIONS: *All attendees must provide proof of vaccination and/or a recent negative test result at check-in. Masks will be strictly enforced during the entirety of the event.* Join us as we commemorate the lives of those living with or who have passed from HIV/AIDS. In addition to the commemoration ceremony, this event is also a fundraiser for our CARES Food Pantry. All funds raised will be allocated towards the food pantry for those at-risk or living with HIV/AIDS. Special guest reading by Eric Wat, author of the newly acclaimed book Love Your Asian Body. Drag performances from the outstanding: Katalina de Isla, Major, Ice Cold Koke, Reese S. Pianis & J Lau Farrow with music from DJ Esparza. 5:00PM - Book Release Launch + Social Eric Wat’s Love Your Asian Body – AIDS Activism in Los Angeles 6:30PM - Dinner + Commemorations 7:30PM - Drag Show Soiree Food & Drinks: Enjoy a family-owned local business catered by The Kubo Restaurant. A Filipinotown staple serving traditional Filipino cuisine. Alcoholic Beverages will also be available for purchase (21+). Admission: $20 suggested donation or canned goods of similar worth will be administered / collected at check-in.
