You are cordially invited to come celebrate the season with us at our annual Ed&IS Holiday Party!
We are excited to see everyone again in-person!
This year’s celebration will be held outdoors under the white tent outside of Moore Hall. To ensure the health and safety of our Ed&IS community members, UCLA students, faculty, and staff attending must complete the UCLA Symptom Monitoring Survey on the day of the party and be prepared to present clearance certificates once on-site. While current guidance does not require face masking outdoors, we strongly encourage all attendees wear masks during the event.
During our celebration, we will hear from our Dean, and staff members in our community that have reached years of service milestones will be presented with certificates of recognition for this accomplishment. Food will be provided to-go for attendees to enjoy in the tables and chairs set-up under the tent.
The baking contest tradition will continue, but it will be held virtually - similar to last year. Please stay tuned for more information on how to enter your delectable dessert masterpieces in this year’s competition.
In order to ensure we have sufficient refreshments for everyone, we kindly ask that you please RSVP by Friday, December 3, 2021. Please RSVP only for yourself and specify your dietary selection. Due to COVID considerations, this event is open only to Ed&IS community members - no outside guests are permitted.
As a land grant institution, the UCLA Graduate School of Education and Information Studies acknowledge the Gabrielino/Tongva peoples as the traditional land caretakers of Tovaangar (Los Angeles Basin, South Channel Islands), and are grateful to have the opportunity to work for the taraaxotam (Indigenous peoples) in this place.
