Description

After the bell rings, come join LEAN LAB Education for music, food, drinks, and prizes as we celebrate our Fall Pilot Research Program. The After School Special Pop Up EventThe American Broadcasting Company coined the term after school special in 1972 with a series of television films, usually dealing with controversial or socially relevant issues, that were generally broadcast in the late afternoon and meant to be viewed by school-age children, particularly teenagers. The specials were shown during the school year, pre-empting local programming that would usually follow the network schedule in the late afternoon hours.LLE is following the After School Special Model, however, our event is for educators instead of children and in person. Over the last 6 months, 5 companies have been piloting their solutions across 8 different schools. You'll have an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about our Pilot Research Program. Meet and greet the LEAN LAB Education Team and Pilot School Educators while sampling some of Kansas City's most tastiest appetizers and sipping on some of its coldest drinks. Get your picture taken with your coworkers with a 360 degree camera. Listen to some of the hottest music and have a chance to win some amazing prizes which includes, a Southwest gift card. This is an exclusive setting, so be sure to register soon, and we'll see you there! Note: This event is for those vaccinated with either the Moderna, Pfizer, or Johnson and Johnson Corona Virus vaccine. You will have to show proof of vaccination or you will be required to wear a mask. LEANLAB EDUCATION is an organization that builds communities and launches transformational innovations into K12 schools. We immerse our innovators into the communities they serve, surrounding them with the tools they need to create effective solutions to endemic problems in education. We believe the most transformational education innovations are born when they are developed in true partnership with those most impacted by education—parents, students, administrators, and teachers.
