Commercial Glazier - Storefront and Tenant Improvements Desert Ridge Glass is a commercial glazing company, specializing in both tenant improvement as well as storefront installations. Typical work hours start at 5:30 am - 2:00 pm Monday - Friday, with occasional Saturdays / early hours start (4 am) We are actively hiring experienced glaziers, apprentice and helpers. Experienced Foreman: Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience in the following: Fabrication, Storefront Installations, Tenant Improvements. Pay range is between $22 and $35 hourly. To fit into this category, you will need to be able to work unsupervised and lead a crew. Experienced Apprentice: Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in hands on installation of storefronts OR tenant improvements. Should be able to install headers and channel without correction or much supervision. Experienced in glass handling, excels in following directions and has a can-do attitude. This category pay range is $18 - $22 per hour. Helpers: Willing to learn. Can lift up to 50 pounds with no assistance and over with assistance. Basic knowledge of hand tools. Willingness to learn the Desert Ridge way. Be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively, without assistance. Be able to lift weight in excess of 75 pounds with assistance. Prepared to stand, walk, lift and bend up to 9 hours per day. Have transportation to and from the shop as well as direct to jobsite reporting. Clean and valid Arizona drivers license (candidates over age 25, applying to be a leadman). For safety communication purposes, be able to read, understand and communicate in English. Be comfortable adhering to all safety guidelines- PPE is utilized on all jobsites. Work 40 hours per week with occasion overtime to complete projects. Pay range from $16 to $35, DOE.
