Help us improve by giving us your feedback Help us improve by giving us your feedback Published on November 22, 2021 The City of Miami Department of Solid Waste will conduct its regularly-scheduled garbage, recycling and bulky trash services on Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, November 25 and on Friday, November 26.   Residents who normally receive scheduled garbage, recycling or bulky trash services on Thursday and Friday should place their items or bins in front of their homes the evening before collection day as usual. All garbage, recycling and bulky trash items should be placed curbside on the public right of way five feet away from all objects. Residents can also dispose of their bulky trash items at the Department of Solid Waste Mini Dump Facility, open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 25 and Friday, November 26. Proof of City of Miami residency is required.
