NEWTON, MA — Mayor Ruthanne Fuller has allocated $75,000 of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to establish Revitalize Creative Newton, a grant program dedicated to helping the city's nonprofit cultural organizations recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. The program, organized by Newton Cultural Development, is intended to support organizations with missions rooted in the arts, culture, and humanities by funding specific operating costs. These costs can include general operating costs, technical or consultant needs, and equity assessments and planning.
