MALDEN, MA — A man was shot and killed outside a 7-Eleven in Malden Saturday night, the Middlesex District Attorney's office said. The shooting happened around 9:40 p.m. outside the Salem Street store. Investigators say the victim, a 22-year-old Boston man, had a "brief interaction" with a group of people before one of them opened fire, hitting him. The man was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead. No arrests have been made so far, the DA's office said. Anyone with information is asked to call Malden police at 781-322-1212.
