Press release from the Easton Fire Department: November 21, 2021 Our Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) who is comprised of all volunteers spent Saturday attending a mental health training day. We were very fortunate to have Dr. Maura Weir who is the Director of Student Wellness at Cape Cod Community College as the instructor. This class is very important in assuring we are prepared to deal with the challenges we face during emergencies. This training certifies our team for 3 years. We also had participants from the Department of Health and Community Services, Easton Fire, and Norton Emergency Management.
