BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A vehicle fire near Towson is snarling traffic on the inner loop of the Baltimore beltway Monday afternoon. Smoke was billowing from the car's engine compartment with flames coming from the hood after 2:30 p.m. Traffic was backing up on I-695 between York Road and Charles Street.
