Over $430K In Grants Given To Nonprofits By DuPage Foundation

WHEATON, IL — More than 30 DuPage-area nonprofits benefitted from a total of more than $430,000 in grants from DuPage Foundation's Community Needs Grant Program for fall 2021. The Community Needs Grant Program accepts applications twice yearly. This round's grant amount was able to exceed the foundation's usual budget by nearly $180,000, due to additional donations, a news release said. Grant recipients were chosen from organizations that focus on animal welfare, arts and culture, education and environment. Below is a roundup of the grant recipients and amounts for each category. Szczepaniak continued, "We are grateful to our donors for their generosity and desire to expand funding to support these organizations."
