The Greater Denton/Wise County Association of REALTORS® sincerely appreciates the support of our early ticket buyers! Unfortunately, this message is to inform you that this year’s Party with a Purpose has been rescheduled due to the executive order to slow the community spread of COVID-19. We are proud of the excitement and support from our community for this event and will continue to work alongside Habitat for Humanity of Denton County, our sponsors, and our event committee to collaborate and reschedule for April 17, 2021. Get ready to Party with a Purpose!The Greater Denton/Wise County Association of REALTORS® (GDWCAR) is hosting it's first annual Party with a Purpose benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Denton County! Dance to live music from In10City, enjoy complimentary appetizers, partake in our cash bar, and participate in our raffles, all benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Denton County. GDWCAR hopes to raise enough to be able to build a home for a local family in need. Your ticket purchase or charitable donation will help us build a home and our community in Denton. Why? Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating, and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. Habitat for Humanity was founded on the conviction that every man, woman, and child should have a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety, and should be a matter of conscience and action for all. FAQ?Is there a dress code? Dress up or dress down! We want everyone to feel comfortable and ready to have a fun evening benefiting a great cause. If I don't buy a table, will I have a place to put my belongings? There will be a complimentary coat check with the hotel. Will there be food and drinks? Appetizers and water and tea will be complimentary to all guests. We will also have a cash bar open for those of age! What is the refund policy? There will be no refunds for this event. However, tickets are transferable. Do I have to know all of the names of my guests at the time of purchase? No, you have up until the time of event to provide names of guests through your Eventbrite tickets. Do I need to have a ticket to attend? Yes, please keep all correspondence and your digital or printed ticket to enter the event on May 2, 2020. Can I buy tickets at the door? Single tickets (no tables) will be available to purchase at the door. Who is In10City? In10City is a local group of musicians putting a fresh spin on all your favorite dance music, creative mashups, and non-stop energy.
