GREENSBURG, PA — A woman was shot Sunday in a road rage incident on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Pennsylvania State Police responded to the shooting which occurred in the eastbound lanes near mile marker 74 in Westmoreland County near the New Stanton exit. Police found the 38-year-old victim had been shot in the abdomen. The other motorist accelerated up to the left side of the victim's car, brandished a handgun and shot a single bullet into the woman's car before continuing to travel eastbound. Based on descriptive information from the woman, police were able to apprehend Andrew Michael Skinner, 30. He faces multiple charges, including attempted homicide, police said.
