NH Man Wanted After Concord Gun Burglary Incident: Alert

CONCORD, NH — An officer safety alert has been issued by the Concord Police Department after a burglary at a North End home on Monday. Between 7:30 and 11 a.m., police accused Nathan Laporte, 27, with a last known address of Manchester, of burglarizing a home and stealing as many as to two dozen firearms. The guns include both handguns and AR-15 longarm rifles, according to an alert issued around 1:15 p.m. Laporte, according to police, spent the night at the home the night before. He was last known to live on Goffstown Road in Manchester. Laporte was a suspect in an armed robbery case out of Bedford in 2013. He was indicted on a single charge but it was nolle prossed in June 2013, according to superior court records. Laporte was also accused of receiving stolen property in December 2013 in Manchester. A year later, Laporte was accused of drug dealing in Salem and pleaded guilty in July 2015, making him a felon. Fifteen months later, he violated probation or parole and was convicted on a single count. Laporte pleaded guilty to drug and weapon possession charges in 2017 after an incident in Manchester in October 2016. His probation was terminated in May 2019, according to superior court records.
