Students and employees will have a few more weeks to zip around campus on an electric scooter.
Initially, VEO's fleet scooters were scheduled to be removed from The University of Toledo campus for winter ahead of Thanksgiving but the deadline was recently extended based on a continued high level of usage.
The scooters will now remain on campus into December until weather no longer permits their use. The scooters will return to campus in March.
Veo launched its program at the University in August with 130 standing scooters and 30 seated scooters. The company anticipates adding additional seated scooters to the University's fleet in the spring.
