BEACHWOOD, OH — A former Beachwood police chief has been hired as the interim police chief for the Cleveland Metroparks.
Kevin Stillman was only Beachwood's police chief for 14 months before leaving his position, WKYC reported. Coincidentally, he was replaced by the Cleveland Metroparks former police chief Katherine Dolan.
Dolan watched her successor sworn-in by the Metroparks on Thursday. Read more about Stillman and Dolan switching roles on WKYC.

Dolan is Beachwood's first female police chief. She was sworn in on Thursday.
"I was warmly welcomed when I joined the department as deputy chief in September and look forward to leading BPD's fine officers in achieving our public-safety goals for this fast-growing community," Dolan said in a statement after her swearing in.
