Nov. 17: Burglary (second-degree) was reported on Wadsworth Place in Smithtown at 5:55 p.m. A person entered a home through a back window, but nothing was taken from the home, police said.Nov. 17: Burglary (second-degree) was reported on Birchbrook Drive in Village of the Branch at 8:45 a.m. Someone broke into a home through a back window and stole jewelry, police said.Nov. 15: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Thomas Place in Smithtown from Nov. 14 at 10 p.m. Someone stole a 2018 Mazda CX5 that was parked outside of a home, police said. The victim was missing a key fob for the vehicle, police said.Nov. 15: Grand larceny (second-degree) was reported on Neil Drive in Lake Grove from Oct. 26 at 11:20 p.m. A person made multiple wire transfers out of someone else's bank account, police said.
