I'm looking for a bird. I grew up with birds. My last one was several years ago. We lost our cat of 12 years a while back and I am very much wanting a bird again. I would like to find one of the following: (I'd like to only have one. I may consider a pair but I don't want a breeding pair) A cockatiel A conure (nanday, green cheek, sun, etc) An Indian Ringneck An Amazon I'm ok with an older bird. Our home is ready for a bird: screens, appropriate cookware, we even bought a cage that will be more than appropriate in size (measures 4.5'x4'x3.5'). We're a quiet household, no cats no dogs nothing that would upset a bird. I'm willing to pay a fair rehoming fee-I won't pay more than I'd pay a good breeder or a pet shop, if I wanted that I'd go to one of them.
