Position Purpose & Summary Responsible for maintenance and repair of commercial landscape irrigation systems. Knowledge of all irrigation systems (Rain Bird, Toro, Hunter) and components. Should be able to repair broken pipes, repair or replace broken valves, heads, control boxes, etc. Should have basic knowledge of how to use trouble-shooting equipment (Multi-meter, wire toner, wire locators). Being backflow certified is a HUGE plus! Essential Functions: • Check irrigation system, flag and repair issues as needed • Clean and adjust nozzles on heads • Make recommendations for improvements of system • Troubleshoot irrigation problems • Repair/replace heads, nozzles, valves • Repair mainlines and lateral lines • Irrigation winterizing. • Operate and maintain utility vehicles and equipment, following standards and safety guidelines. Additional Duties and Responsibilities: • Perform any other such duties, as assigned. • Comply with company policies and procedures. • Observe and adhere to safety guidelines. • Displays care in use of equipment and maintains an organized and professional work environment. Position Requirements: • Minimum Knowledge & Skills: Equivalent experience in a landscape-related field • Formal Education and Job-Related Experience: Irrigation landscaping Experience Preferred • License, Registration, and/or Certification Required: o Valid Driver's License
