Job Description: Studying building plans and working drawings to determine work aids required and sequence of installations Follow detailed assembly instructions and procedures safely and correctly Measure, cut, bend, and fasten thin pieces of sheet metal to specifications using tools and machines Use hand tools, electronic and manual equipment and machinery to construct sheet metal into finished product Work with installation department to ensure product targets and deadlines are met Rotating weekends is required. Ensure your work area is properly cleaned at the end of each day and following each job · Ensure your work is completed to picture perfect standards · Ensure you are following all OSHA requirements and using PPE when performing your duties · Represent yourself consistent with Goettl standards for punctuality, experience and appearance · Provide an amazing experience for your internal customers on every job · Ensure your work is performed to Goettl’s standard of picture-perfect · Follow the appropriate checklist for all jobs · Actively participate in ongoing technical training · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines. · Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools. · Fantastic organizational and time management skills. · Strong decision-making and problem- solving skills. · Meticulous attention to detail. Requirements Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation; Reliable transportation to/from jobsite; Drug free at all times; Solid knowledge and understanding of system operation, building plans and working drawings; 4 years of experience as Sheet Metal Fabricator
