My daughter lost her grandfather’s dog tag from his service in the Swiss Army in the early 1950’s. This dog tag is a stainless steel oval disk with two halves, each of which has the same information engraved on it. The name on the tag is Christian Walser, DOB March 15, 1934 This tag has great sentimental value to both of us — I wore it at her age, and she’s been wearing it since I gave it to her. I’m mostly concerned at how badly she’ll feel for having had lost it, though Thanks very much
