Hi all,
We're hiring a General Manager for a very large New Year's Eve party.
The General Manager will be responsible for:
- managing check-in staff
- managing DJ and sound
- liaising with hotel staff and bartenders
- ensuring event runs smoothly
- dealing with customer (guest) questions and issues
- coordinating with security staff
- assuming overall on-site responsibility and leadership for the event
The ideal candidate should have CONSIDERABLE event experience.
People who thrive in the General Manager role tend to have experience: managing restaurants, managing retail stores, managing bars, working in hotels, planning weddings, running PR events, etc.
This is a fun, exciting, dynamic job.
It will include a full day and night of work on New Year's eve. This job will also involve approximately 5-10 hours preparation before New Year's Eve, and perhaps 3 hours of post event work.
