Funeral Home Transporter This position interacts directly with client families during their time of need and is responsible for creating and maintaining a premier level of client family satisfaction. The Funeral Assistant is responsible for the care, removal and transport of human remains in accordance with all state, local and company policies and procedures. MUST PASS BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG SCEENING TEST. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with removals of deceased from hospital, nursing home or residence to transport to funeral home. May perform removals from prep rooms or embalming facilities as well. Must be able to move and lift 75 lbs. on a regular basis. Maintains and ensures removal vehicle is clean inside and out and is properly maintained. Performs duties with strict adherence to Edification Policies and Procedures. Only candidates who respond with recent photo and work history will be considered. Other duties as assigned.
