Description

My name is Kyle Sweeney and I am part of a research team at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Risk Management and Decision Processes Center. We are looking for volunteers to take a 10 - 15 minute online research survey about the disaster recovery process after flooding caused by the remnants of Hurricane Ida. The first 100 volunteers who complete the survey will receive a Wawa gift card. To be eligible for the survey you must meet the following criteria: • Be 18 years or older, • Be a homeowner or car owner in Philadelphia, • Your home or car was damaged by Hurricane Ida, and • You are involved in the financial decisions for your household. The survey’s goal is to improve our understanding of disaster recovery and the role of insurance in the recovery process. Study results will be summarized in a research paper that will be made publicly available when completed. Your individual responses to all questions in this survey will be kept confidential. You may choose not to answer specific questions and you can stop taking the survey at any time. If you are interested in taking the survey or would like more information, please reply to this posting via email or call me at ) and indicate where you found the survey (nextdoor, craigslist, or word of mouth). Wawa gift cards will be distributed via email after completion of the survey to the first 100 respondents. Thank you in advance, Kyle Sweeney
