Guitarist into improvisation looking for musicians to play with

I just moved to Philly and I'm hoping to find some like-minded musicians to play with. I'm really into improvisation, rooted in blues/funk/jazz/eastern. Some of my favorite musicians are Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Lester Young, Billie Holiday, Sun Ra, Albert Ayler, Fela Kuti. My favorite current guitarist is Wayne Krantz. I don't really fit in well with traditional jazz, I like to play open and get into deep grooves that have a free feel. I guess some would call it avant-garde, but I try to play with as much rhythm as I can. For now I'm just hoping to connect with some musicians that are into improvising, eventually would be nice to get a group together and play out. Thanks for reading my post.
