Warehouse/Labor Basic Function: Warehouse workers are responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock and other. This position requires efficiency and attention to detail making sure incoming and outgoing orders are correctly processed. Time management, organizational skills, multi tasking, and material handling are also skills required for this position. Employee must be able to operate a forklift and other machines with the warehouse. As a small business you will be asked to perform small misc project and regular scheduled cleaning. Major Duties: 1. Warehouse related duties. Shipping, receiving, stocking, organizing, ect. 2. Pull and organize orders. 3. Misc Labor. 4. Clean and organize - warehouse, counter area, bathrooms, outside yard, ect. 5. Communicate with customers about orders. Additional Responsibilities: 1. Assist with customer will calls. 2. Miscellaneous maintenance duties such as: minor construction projects. 3. Performs other various duties as instructed or required by your supervisors. Necessary Qualifications: 1. High School diploma or equivalent. 2. Current Driver License and clean driving record. 3. Reliable transportation. 4. Clean and presentable attire 5. Forklift and other miscellaneous material handle equipment knowledge. 6. Familiarity with warehouse environment. 7. Commitment to and demonstration of high ethical standards governing professional behavior and interactions. 8. Basic familiarity with the use of a computer. 9. Demonstrate ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats. 10. Demonstrate time management and organizational skills, including an ability to plan and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. 11. Ability to work well in a team environment 12. Self motivated and have confidence in problems solving skills. Physical Ability Requirements 1. Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time 2. Ability to utilize a computer and telephone. 3. Ability to routinely lift, carry and otherwise transport work-related materials that frequently weigh up to 50lbs and that may weigh in excess of 50lbs.
