Maintenance person needed for property management company. This job is only for a few hours a week. Must have tools and transportation. Pay depends on skill level. This job overall will be helping to keep our properties operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. All the properties are single family homes located in the city of Rochester and the property manager will assist in scheduling and ensuring entry to the property at the time of repair. Some examples of what the maintenance person will be responsible for includes the following: * Performing routine maintenance around the homes such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door or wall repair * Repairing broken, leaking or basic clogged plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures * Working on basic damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs * Maintaining the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the homes functioning properly, for example, general yearly cleaning of furnace and replacement of filter. * Applying preventative measures to the home to reduce the risk of future problems, such as cleaning or fixing gutters, repairing a railing, porch or steps * Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries * Painting homes when old paint has become faded or chipped Please included a name and phone number when reaching out to inquire on this position and contact us directly.
