80s Band Seeks Bass Player

Newly forming 80s band is in search of a bass player. We are looking for someone with a lot of experience, great gear, and great stage presence. Some lead vocal ability is desirable but not a deal breaker. Must be able to create different sounds with your bass guitar or have the ability to play keyboard bass. Also, must be comfortable using in ear monitors because we will be using a "clean" stage (no amps, no monitor wedges). We are: lead vocals, lead guitar/backing vocals, and acoustic/electronic drums/backing vocals. All three of us have decades of experience playing in some of the top cover bands in town. We utilize keyboard backing tracks to fill in all the spaces that need to be covered. We rehearse in Highlands Ranch. We all learn our parts ahead of time and want to get this project up and running by early next year. We will be playing all (and only) 80s music by groups such as Duran Duran, INXS, Prince, Loverboy, The Police, The Fixx, Van Halen, Def Leppard, Quiet Riot, etc....Some new wave, some hair metal. If it's danceable, a big hit, and the girls love it, we will play it. We intend on utilizing video and lighting to enhance our shows and are aiming at, not only playing clubs, but more importantly, targeting the corporate and private party market. We want someone who understands that marketing is a big part of being a successful band, so you will be expected to contribute in that area also. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to do something more than playing in a typical bar band. We will dress up a bit (see the photo for this ad), but we won't be wearing any spandex, afro wigs, or orange jump suits.
