Open studio time for graduates of our Mosaics Extravaganzas to create mosaics and socialize. About Mosaic Hangouts: Already know how to make mosaics and want a work space to create? Get out of the house for a bit and join our Mosaic Hangouts! These 2-hour open studio sessions let you take advantage of our studio space to create mosaics and socialize with other makers. This is a ticketed event for graduates of our Mosaic Extravaganza classes so you should be comfortable working independently before joining a Mosaic Hangout. These sessions are self-supervised - no instruction is included. Bring your own materials and tools or conveniently purchase what you need in our store! We have grout available for purchase but all grouting must be done at home please. Session sizes are limited and each participant’s work area will be about 2 square feet (your project must fit within your work area). Each individual is responsible for cleaning up their work area at the end of the session. COVID-19 Precautions:Your health is a top priority so we're keeping workshop sizes small to allow for social distancing and are disinfecting surfaces regularly. Please bring a face mask. Face masks are required in the studio in accordance with City of Tulsa regulations. Gloves will be available (optional). The Fine Print: We recommend kids be at least 6 years old due to the risks of working with small glass pieces. All minors need to be accompanied by an adult, and all attendees must have a paid ticket.Closed toe shoes recommended. Glass in shoes = ouch!Participants are required to sign a Personal Injury/COVID-19 Waiver and an Intellectual Property Waiver upon arrival at the studio.Subject to $8 rescheduling fee if notified at least 48 hours in advance.
