Hi ! I have an awesome 3 year old bonded pair of canary winged parakeets/parrots available. I’m moving soon and unfortunately can’t take them with me. I intended to breed them next year and believe it to be a male/female pair but haven’t done DNA sexing on them, but they look and act like a pair. They feed each other often and are very bonded. Both were hand raised as babies. The female has an amazing personality and is a great talker and still pretty tame. She says “whatcha doin” and “Hi” all the time as well as wolf whistles and other stuff. The male is not as hand tame now, but not flighty or easily spooked. Very calm pair that would make great breeders or pets for the right person. I keep them in a small aviary Outdoors and they do really well all year long. I block off the sides and give them a heat lamp on the colder days but they aren’t bothered by it. I do bring them inside on rare super cold days. They are pretty noisy birds but not super loud in volume, just lots of chattering throughout the day. Probably not good apartment birds or for people not use to bird noises. I do have hatch certificates somewhere on them if I can find them, showing they tested negative for disease, also shows hatch dates etc. Would really like these to go to someone who is familiar with birds and will give them a good home. They’re use to flying around in the aviary so a spacious cage flight cage or outdoor aviary would be ideal for them. Please TEXT anytime for questions or inquiries on them.
