Celebrate innovation in our region with MIX Southwest Michigan First. MIX Southwest Michigan First celebrates the best of innovation in our region! Join us on Wednesday, December 8, as we honor another great year of innovation in Southwest Michigan. You'll have the chance to wander through products and projects that were designed right here in our region. We will celebrate the winners of Western Michigan University (WMU)’s Innovation Expo Competition. The top three winning teams will kick off the event with their presentations on products created through a solution-based approach. This is a great opportunity to meet students that have the talent local organizations need! In addition, the Creative Crash portion will celebrate Southwest Michigan’s legacy of innovation with a parade of products imagined and launched by amazing designers and companies in our community. This is a great opportunity to connect with innovators and creators representing all design disciplines! We have a few surprises in store and, of course, our favorite things: craft beer, music, appetizers, and networking with local designers and innovators. Wave goodbye to 2021 and get inspired for the new year at the final in-person event at the new Catalyst Center in the Warner Building at 180 East Water Street!
