Four puppies were dumped off in our rural neighborhood. Three took off and this one stayed- undernourished, wormy, fleas, demodex mange, etc. [The last four pictures are from the first few days we had her.] We have nursed her back to health the last 6 weeks-. She is sweet, smart, good with other dogs-- and is fine with our cat [but teaching her not to try to engage him in play]. She can sit and working on her downs. She is afraid of new people. We have had children over and she just sits back and observes them, then later walked between them. We were on a walk the other day and she saw people on the bridge and ran all the way home. She will need time in her socialization. She had been tossed out of a car on our road [I found out later per eyewitnesses] and it looks like someone had twisted her back toenails, so I believe she has good reason to not love everyone. She loves me- and likes my husband and mother just fine! We have three other big dogs-- and we really do not need to keep another, so I would like to find a good home for this little girl. If you can provide her a good home- please inquire. A small re-homing fee is required to make sure she gets to a good home.
