Percussionist Looking for New Band/Project

Looking for a new band/project that welcomes and enjoys improvisational performance and interpretational music making in addition to playing whatever songs we select or write. If you're an established band, or a band that meets regularly to rehearse and play gigs and would like to add a little something more, I can provide that with percussion (snare, djembe and a large variety of mostly percussion instruments, though I just got a Zither- fun). I don't mind singing backup from time to time, though that's still a work in progress. I've played in several bands, mostly New Orleans style, West African and AfroBrazilian, snare, djembe, repinique, etc. I don't read music, play by ear. I enjoy playing world music, R &B, rock, some pop,blues, jazz, anything that moves you or grooves you. List of influences too long. Just looking for a good fit of people who enjoy jamming and making good music together. I don't really care about people's personal choices, as long as they're not assholes. I just want to make music and enjoy doing so with other people who vibe.
