Cripple Creek's Ski Touring 101, based at our Denver shop, is designed to set you (and your gear) up for sucess for your first day on snow.
We have all been there. You have a new set up, or piece of gear, and you can't wait to bring it into the mountains, only to find that once you're out there the gear is not fully dialed or you don't know how to use it. Days out in the backcountry are precious, so don't waste a single one when skills could be learned and practiced on a rug (that really tied the room together) inside out of the ice and cold.
Even better, practice with a professional or two to answer questions and offer advice for traveling in the mountains.
The CCBC Ski Touring 101 is designed to set you up for sucess for your first day on snow. Taught by our staff and a guest certified mountain guide, these classes are designed for uphillers and backcountry skiers in their first year of skinning. Bring your own gear to practice with, or bring a friend looking to head up hill this winter.
