By engaging in expressive arts, music making and mindfulness practices, participants will come to understand how these modalities work to build relationships and community. These are not therapeutic activities; however, they do produce a therapeutic environment that allows people to grow. Participants will learn evidenced based techniques that are shown to improve engagement and retention. Where Ancient Healing and Modern Science Meet Our logo is a Triskele with beaming light shinning through. For our purposes, the three spirals represent mind, body and spirit and the light represents hope. The Triskele is the oldest symbol on earth, dating back to 3200 BCE and is found in many cultures. All three spirals are connected in one continuous design. At Authentic Trainings, LLC these are guiding principles: connection, community and spirit. At Authentic Trainings we take a Multiple Pathways approach to healing. All our work is Trauma Responsive and includes Motivational Interviewing. We practice The Red Road which includes all cultures, religions, races and genders. All are welcome here. Visit our training page. Many of our trainings are approved for OASAS, CASAC renewal and ASAP-NYCB CRPA, CARC renewal and Carc electives. Approved trainings will be noted at the beginning of each scheduled event. Don't see what you need, Sandy Rivers and Lisa Ardner have Master's Degrees in Adult Learning. They are both approved OASAS and ASAP-NYCB approved trainers. They have developed most of the trainings listed under the trainings section on our website. We can customize a training for you, or your organization.
