Join Idaho Young Birders Club for a bird walk at Wilson Spring Ponds in Nampa. Intended for ages 25 and under. This bird walk is beginner friendly and binoculars will be provided if needed. We will travel about 1.5 miles on level, paved pathways. There is a pit toilet bathroom at the parking lot. This event is intended for ages 25 and under but parents and/or guardians are welcome accompanying minors. If you are accompanying a minor please count yourself as a participant so that we do not exceed our participant limit! Wilson Spring Ponds is a great place to find winter ducks! Please bring water, any snacks you want, and binoculars if you have them. Trip Leader: Lucian Davis Lucian is the president and co-founder of IYBC. He is a Boise State University Student studying biology and he has been a birder since 2018. COVID-19 Policy: Registration for in-person IYBC events will be restricted to ten participants, however with the addition of IYBC leadership team members, up to fifteen people may be in attendance. We are not requiring face masks for outdoor events. If you choose to wear a mask, your decision will be respected without judgement. We will not ask your vaccination status. If you are feeling sick or were exposed to COVID-19 and may be infected, please stay home and cancel your attendance. We would be happy to have you at a future event! If you do not feel comfortable attending IYBC events due to these policies, please email us. We would be happy to work with you to ensure you can comfortably attend an IYBC event.
