Come tryout for the Rockford Redblacks as we look to form our team for 2022 under Coach McMeekan! The Rockford Redblacks, Pro Basketball Association Member, will be hosting a OPEN tryout on January 8th, 2022. Players who attend will have the opportunity to compete for an invitation to Redblacks training camp beginning April 2022. The tryout will be held at the NASH REC CENTER, located at 304 S 5th Street, Oregon, IL 61061 and will begin at 7am to 11am. Members of the Redblacks front office and coaching staff will be running operations while performing full evaluations of all participating players. This is a great opportunity for players in and around the Rockford area to come and showcase their abilities while participating in high-level drills and scrimmages. Redblacks President and General Manager, J.R. Robinson, will also be in attendance evaluating and scouting all active participants. Robinson is excited about having the Redblacks in Rockford and building a roster of players who will not only be great teammates but great members of the community as well. This is an exciting time for Rockford basketball. All tryout participants can pre-register and pay the $100 non-refundable tryout fee.
