Power Ballads to Hard Rock - looking for a Singer

If the thing holding you up from joining a band is the time commitment most bands require, keep reading. We are looking for a singer that can do power ballads, some hard rock, and everything in between. We practice a few hours on the weekends in southwest Houston, and you can work on the material on your own time during the week. We have plenty of original material for you to sing, and we are going to record an album before we hit any stage. We all have full time jobs, families, but also have a drive and a passion for music. We are doing this for the passion and fun of music. Our band is current mixed 30's to 50's, so we really aren't concerned about age. We are open to both male and female singers. Video, simple iPhone recording, whatever. We want to hear your voice before starting the audition process. The initial audition will be via email, so you can do it from home. We will send you a track and the lyrics. You learn the track, record yourself singing it, then email it in. Does not have to be professional recording, you can do it on a phone so long as we can hear what your voice sounds like with the music. If we like it, we will send a second track for you to do the same. From there, we will set up in person auditions with the band.
